F5:- On = Buffer Clash – Turn Off = Coupling

• *Flange Squeal only operates at low speed turns off over 15 mph

F20 If a EM was shut down with the panto-graph lowered and no air pressure was available. The official way to raise the photograph was with a manual hand pump, which was located in the engine room compartments. If this did not work the there was a long pole which the Fireman had to manually hold the panto-graph up to the overhead and allow the compressor to run until air pressure held up the panto-graph. Using F20 creates the action the manual hand pump made.

EM Head code classification lighting was unusual in the fact they copied the steam oil light operation but then placed white disc to highlight the class in daytime. The tail light was the same disc but was painted red for daytime use with a red lens to show the Signalman it was light engine. Our full light mod allows you have all 11 train classification lights these units ran with.
